The Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival is an acoustic weekend of concerts, workshops, jamming, dancing and more, focused on Old-Time, Bluegrass and Folk traditions.

It is a family friendly festival and we encourage participation from all ages and are dedicated to sharing our love of music. Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival Inc. would like to acknowledge that this festival is held on the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, and pay our respect to elders both past and present.

Thank You.

We’d like to extend our greatest thanks to all who attended the 17th festival in 2018. In varying capacities, we on the committee would like to extend our sincere thanks for your part, no matter how big or small, in contributing to yet another successful and wonderful festival.

As you all know it is a continuing work in progress and this year’s festival is already beginning to take shape and we look forward to presenting our 18th festival as the Spring reaches out over the Dorrigo Plateau.

Special thanks to all of our gracious performers, our amazing sound crew and to our many volunteers from near and far.
Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival Inc. will continue to bring the very best of the folk, bluegrass and old-timey worlds to the plateau.

We also acknowledge and respect the importance of traditions and heritage, and the exploration of these genres that may sometimes be challenging but at the same time allows us to encompass our musicians as they explore new territories.

Throughout the year we host gigs for touring musicians who are kind enough to visit our small town. You can keep up to date on who will be playing on our Gigs page.
