Prosepine is a Melbourne-based band performing French-Canadian songs and tunes, born from the schemes of quebecois overlord Pria Schwall-Kearny (String Theory). Pria’s underlings, sous-chef Jess Foot on fiddle (Big Fiddle, Little Fiddle), saucier Tess Hickey on Cello (Apolline), and dish-hand Luisa Hickey on Guitar (Apolline) are honestly just happy to be there. From the humble origins of fortnightly sessions in the Dandenongs, the group brings to the stage an astonishing groove and an infectious passion for quebecois music that will have you out of your seat and dancing.
