The Freewheeler brings together three pillars of Australia’s Irish traditional music scene: Ado Barker (fiddle), Dougal Adams (flute) and Ben Stephenson (guitar). The trio’s sound has been honed over years of tunes, travels and comradery., the road taking them to festivals and sessions across Australia, and as far away as the famous Feile Frank McGann in Co Roscommon, Ireland. Their deep bonds are channelled into an irresistible flow of jigs, reels and some curly territory beyond.
