Ewan MacKenzie has been playing guitar for many years in all styles. Since devoting himself to the jazz genre, Ewan is now regarded as one of Australia's premier Gypsy Jazz guitarists in the Django Reinhardt style.

Artistic Director of the OzManouche Festival, member of the Doch Gypsy Orchestra, Paris Dreaming and Swing Manouche, Ewan studied with Manouche Gypsy guitarist Lollo Meier in Holland.

Ewan's playing is fluid and passionate, his improvising is warm and articulate. Rhythm guitarist Oliver Steffen will perform with Ewan at this year's Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival.
